Here it is: the breakout hit! Leaving Colours is a fantastic showcase of Feather's incredible vocal talent, and the track's simplicity lends it an earnest sort of intrinsic-honesty which just pushes the whole thing up through the stratosphere. Leaving Colours may as well be a perfect song, it's that good.

Feather as one of the many brony singers in this wonderful fandom of ours that everything that comes out of that mouth of hers is always fantastic and this is no exception!

LYRICS by Feather
Sometimes I think my head is filled with clouds
Kicking up a storm when I feel down
I can’t put it in words like you can
Though it don’t matter ‘cause you understand
Sometimes I think that I am overwhelmed
By the vastness of my realm
Reaching up the sun splits in five
And somehow I know I’m alive
I’m alive
I’m alive
Woah I know I’m alive
Alive
Ripping up the sky
I leave my mark
And though I’m not quite there
I feel a part
Of something more than just me
And I know I’m meant to be
Leaving colours in my wake
Leaving colours in my wake
Sometimes I think the weight will make me fall
And yet I don’t seem to care at all
Maybe 'cause I don’t believe
That I obey the laws of gravity
I can fly
I can fly
I can fly
And nothing can stop me
Ripping up the sky
I leave my mark
And though I’m not quite there
I feel a part
Of something more than just me
And I know I’m meant to be
Ripping up the sky
I leave my mark
And though I’m not quite there
I feel a part
Of something more than just me
And I know I’m meant to be
Leaving colours in my wake
Leaving colours in my wake
Leaving colours in my wake
An earthy yet somewhat chilly record about life, death, and reconnection, the latest from LOMA experiments with a turn towards the gloomy. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 16, 2024

This album brings back a lot of memories of my early high school years, and the joy I got from seeing new things and discovering myself. I’m glad I was able to get a copy and support the artists instead of back then when I had to just listen to a YouTube playlist kramerthecourier
